The world of watchmaking accounts or reliable people is a sea for well prepared sailors.
I’m definitely not one of them (as I’m part of the problem, we can say, being among these accounts) but I can do my best to share with you the people I look up to when we’re talking watches.
Is this list about taste? Yes. Is it about reliability and informations provided? Also yes. Is it about fun and enjoyability of the accounts? Once again, yes.
One list, my list, of watch accounts, personalities, missed stars, gurus and whatsoever makes my heart tick is here, first episode. Let’s look at it as a monthly (or some sort of) favorite accounts, that could vary!
Go to your local parties, it’s not wasted time.
Randomly met at Alessandro Squarzi’s, Zoran is first of all a friend, a wonderful and polyedric individual that has a ton of stories to tell.
Kind heart but also party animal, with a never-ending lion/Wolf of Wall Street mood, paired with the perfect dosys of irony and sarcasm, Zoran Miljak is the guy you want to see on your feed when you wake up lazy, tired and also motivated.
Apart from fueling a G-Wagon while smoking a cigarette, the guy has a pretty strong taste for watches, varying from Bulgari to the finest Pateks, and is building a charming character made of a singular way of comunicating, expensive but refined and very knowledgeable taste plus a lot of globe-trotting.
He is not your average watch collectors: he has a lot of hyped pieces, but he knows well everyone of them, why he bought them, the story they have and the whole brand they are from.
trust me, im.3m is like chocolate: once you go… you know it.
Rafael, oh Rafael: when they say Italians do it better…
Explosive guy, walking bible on Cartiers and niche stuff he likes (that happens to be the same I like) but most of all the individual we need as the watch fam. Raf is the kindest dude on earth (with me, at least), always supportive and ready to help, with a great “do less but the best you can” way of thinking.
Oh, I almost forgot it: he has a truly tasteful collection you’ll see on IamCasa, plus he takes some of the best non-professional pics out there, always ready to share them if you need them.
Youngsters helping youngsters: a generation I want to be part of, a group of people I’m proud to represent. Thanks for being who you are Raf.

If you want to see some of the hottest watches out there (paired with amazing cars as well) you’re in the right place.
Not only son of the most important dealer in the world (Italian, obviously), Andrea is a super chill and fun dude I had the pleasure of meeting during my time in Milan and Monaco.
Super kind, available and always ready to help, chat and share, Andrea is a great expert of the finest vintage watches. What makes him different in my perspective is how he explains his point of view.
More than once I had him telling me why a watch is special to him, and I always ended up looking at a certain piece in a different way, because of a detail he spotted while I didn’t.

The freshest market analysis around here, and the OGs of that.
Always super professional, well done and highly enjoyable, WatchAnalytics offers a great overview of the market, with a touch of novelties and niche releases.
I like them for many reasons, some of which I can’t publicly share, but I can ensure you that they’re worth a follow if you want to approach watchmaking looking at the digits and graphics and not just at the hands and bezels.

The highest quality videos on watches, paired with a super approachable way of presenting the pieces and telling stories.
Humor, youth, fun, professionality, details and freshness: that’s Marko. And another thing I love is that you can always find “new” stuff on his channel, independents, niche stuff, ranging from super unaffordable to simple pieces. In the end, Marko is the guy you identify which (or you would love to be, see it how you like to) when it comes to watches.
I had the pleasure of meeting him and shoot some together and i can ensure you it was one of the most formative experiences of my career, which I’m so grateful for.
Keep it up Marko, you rock!
